I’m writing two new posts, one looking at the armed revolutionary social collectives like La Piedrita (Red Pebbles), and the other speculating hypothetically about what could happen if Fidel concludes that Chavez is more valuable to the revolution dead than alive (Hugo and Che). But meanwhile, two of my favorite swing bands.

    I would negotiate amnesty deal while in power but if Chavez the roadblock then would anticipate a military-civilian junta that would do just that before handing the reigns. It also depends on who controls the military power: key units such as airborne (paracaidistas), mechanized infantry, etc… my understanding is Diosdado controls this

    I remember seeing the Stray Cats in Tampa in the mid 80’s.
